Twisted Tales of Poe entertains with Halloween chills
AHS Thespians presented the thrilling radio play Twisted Tales of Poe by Philip Grecian on Friday evening, October 18. With an illuminated "on-air" sign and actors dressed in vintage
costumes, the otherwise minimal staging suggesting an old fashioned radio station. Actors performed their roles at one of three microphones and brought the stories of Edgar Allan Poe to life with only their voices. AHS Technical Theater students helped provide a haunting atmosphere with moody blue lighting and sound effects. Spooky fun was had by all.
